The Air Jordan VI is back in a fresh ‘Red Oreo’ colorway and evokes sweet memories of when Michael Jordan won his first championship title, wearing Air Jordan VI. Originally released in 1991, the Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette draws heavy inspiration from sports cars: The legendary Nike designer even referred to the shoe’s rubber heel tab as a “spoiler”, and when you look at it, you will see why.
The speckled heel tab isn’t the only detail that satisfies the apparent cookie obsession by Jordan: The red Oreo look also graces the lace toggle, the mid-foot logo and the midsole decals while a white leather base and an icy translucent outsole round out the eye-catching pair.
