While basketball fans can’t wait until the next Quai 54 takes place soon, Jordan x Quai 54 just dropped the accompanying collection for the annual streetball tournament in Paris.
The event deluxe – because where else can you dunk under the shadow of the Eiffel Tower – draws ten thousands of fans every year. Oh: Plus Carmelo Anthony, Scottie Pippen and some more names that might ring a bell.
The matching apparel pays homage to both the legacy of Michael Jordan and Quai 54: Subtle pinstripes nod to MJ‘s prime Chicago Bulls jersey. West African patterns celebrate Quai 54 as a meeting point of African inspiration, African-American style and authentic Parisian culture. This is also visible by rich Indigo blue tones, all dyed in a traditional West African dying process.
