With basketball at the core of the BSTN Brand‘s DNA, the label teamed up with adidas for a project that celebrates their mutual love for the game and for the local landscape: The Alpine Basketball Court!
Constructed at close to 1000m above sea level, this one-of-a-kind basketball court is dedicated to the spectacular scenery on the doorstep of the two German brands: The Alps. Surrounded by 360 degrees of breathtaking mountain landscape, the custom-designed hoops setup provides a stark contrast to the Alpine wilderness of its environment.
Fueled by their joint passion for the game of basketball, BSTN Brand and adidas hosted a scrimmage game for up-and-coming hoopers at the foot of a mountain in the higher reaches of the Alps. The remote location pays homage to the beauty of the region that both labels originate from.
The unique basketball court also serves as an elevated stage for the re-launch of the BSTN Brand, premiering apparel and accessories from the label’s inaugural collection (debuting in October ’22).
While the 1-of-1 installation on the Alpine pasture had to be a temporary one due to seasonal reasons, the actual court as well as the two full-size baskets are donated to benefit the next generation of basketball players.
