The Air Jordan V ‘We The Best’, coming in a Sail and Crimson Bless colorway and with a slimmer silhouette, look as flamboyant as one would expect with a DJ Khaled collab and so does the accompanying apparel. So without further ado, here’s a style guide for the ‘We The Best’ capsule collection by none other than DJ Khaled himself.
“Special cloth alert”: Matching the bright coral leather uppers of the DJ Khaled x Air Jordan V ‘We The Best’ Crimson Bliss and its translucent outsoles, the gradient colorway of the corresponding track suit is a (pun intended) no brainer – but the shoe works just as well with more toned down outfits, given the colorway’s distinctive loudness that makes the pair shine on its own.
Similar to the ‘Crimson Bliss’, the DJ Khaled x Air Jordan V ‘We The Best’ Sail gives the classic silhouette a pastel but-slightly-more-subtle makeover that proves once again that sail matches with about everything you can think of. In the meantime, purple hues on the midsole keep things funky.
A quilted lining and ‘We The Best’ embroidery on the heel round off both pairs of the Air Jordan Vs, with the inner tongue tags – saying ‘Keep’ and ‘Going’ – sporting another one of DJ Khaled’s motivational phrases. Pair it with the matching slogan hoodie and a mesh short for additional 80s vibes and you’re all set.
