Dressed in the Lamborghini-logo of color ways, this specific version of the six was originally released in early 2006 alongside and equally iconic rendition of the Jordan XI. Just like the original, the 2020 retro version comes with a shiny golden dog tag, a staple of the Defining Moments Pack.
The gallant black and golden Air Jordan VI obviously pays homage to Michael Jordan’s first championship. The 1991 NBA Finals matchup between Jordan’s Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers not only delivered truly memorable moments (including a flabbergasted Marv Albert delivering his iconic “Oh, a spectacular move by Michael Jordan!” line).
It also marks a passing of the torch-moment and the very beginning of one of the most dominating dynasties in modern sports.
