The latest release of the Air Jordan III is paying homage to the traditional Japanese art of denim-making. The three’s characteristic elephant print — found on the toe-guard, heel, and lace collar — is printed on jeans fabric resulting in a much more subtle effect. The rest of the AJIII Denim SE sticks to well-proven basics in a mostly white upper and outsole paired with small black and red details across the shoe.
However, one characteristic that separates this iteration from the majority of other Jordan IIIs is the translucent heel clip. On the European release, it features the sought-after Nike Air logo that can also be found on the insole of the shoe [unlike the Japanese rendition of the Air Jordan III Denim SE].
The Air Jordan III Denim SE Fire Red releases at BSTN on Saturday, August 8th, at 9:00 am CEST in men’s, PS and TD sizes.
