The latest edition of the Air Jordan V is going off the beaten path by moving one of the shoe’s signature pieces, the reflective material, off of the tongue and onto the quarter panels among other, smaller inserts. Combined with a toned down upper made up of dark grey suede and black ballistic mesh, this creates a subtle yet sleek-looking alternative to traditional fives.
The Anthracite Air Jordan V sits atop an all-black midsole with the traditional shark teeth covered with a light speckles. Sticking with the dark and tonal theme, the iconic number 23 embroidery on the heel of the AJV is kept in black as well.
The Air Jordan V Anthracite releases at BSTN on Friday, February 19th.
