While both, the debut of a new Air Jordan colorway and a heavy dose of denim might trigger associations with Justin Timberlake, for this latest Jumpman release, it’s not the case. Firstly because it’s an Air Jordan I and secondly because it pairs the denim with a crisp white base and a gum outsole.
A savvy lifestyle adaptation of the on court classic, the aptly named ‘Denim’ colorway of the AJI uses a light blue wash of the durable fabric on the upper in a tried and true pattern for the silhouette, pairing it with black details on the Swoosh and around the ankle and places it above white and gum on the mid and outsole respectively.
