At first glance, the all-new Air Jordan IV ‘Canyon Purple’ might evoke flashbacks to one of the most sought-after fours of all time: Travis Scott’s uber-limited friends & family edition from a few years ago. But while the two AJ IVs certainly share some similarities, this 2022 design has some key differences that make it its own stand-out release.
The most striking feature of the ‘Canyon Purple’ colorway is the bright purple upper, made in its entirety from premium suede. The shoe’s namesake color is paired with speckled olive green elements on the midsole and on the eyelets. Not unlike La Flame’s F&F design, this pair boasts contrasting elements in bright red, in the AJ IV ‘Canyon Purple’s case on both sides of the tongue as well as on the insole.
