First turning heads during the Sidney 2000 Summer Games on the feet of Jordan Brand athletes Ray Allen and Vin Baker, the Air Jordan VI ‘White and Midnight Navy’ finally makes a return in all its (rather subtle) patriotic glory.
The pair features an eponymous colorway on the classic silhouette that draws inspiration from motorsport fan Michael Jordan’s penchant for sleek German sports cars. The retro edition stays true to the original design: To round out the colorway, that was inspired by by the Star-Spangled Banner, striking accents in Varsity Red can be found on the lace locks and Jumpman logos. Navy overlays and a white midsole atop a translucent outsole complete the nostalgic pair.
