BEASTIN, known for its deep devotion to sports culture, is proud to unveil their biggest and most prestigious collaboration of the year:
A perfect match for their inherent passion for U.S. sports, BEASTIN is teaming up with one of the most lauded names in media, Sports Illustrated. The collaboration between Germany’s leading culture-driven sportswear brand and the American icon features a limited apparel capsule, inspired by 90s sportswear and topped off with BEASTIN’s unique street fashion twist.
The transatlantic collaboration pays homage to the golden era of 90s sports, re-imagined through modern material compositions and manufacturing techniques. Inspired by the heroes of their formative years like Bo Jackson, Charles Barkley, and Deion Sanders, BEASTIN has created athletic-inspired styles in a classic color scheme dominated by navy, white, and silver. The resulting collection is a contemporary interpretation of sportswear with a distinct memorabilia flavor.
The BEASTIN x Sports Illustrated collection features a carefully curated material mix with high-quality embellishments on a variety of authentic essentials including hoodies and sweatpants mixed with cut and sew pieces including a track jacket and matching duffle bag, as well as towel terry pieces for extra post-game coziness.
“To manifest our deep passion for U.S. sports culture and heritage in collaboration with one of the most iconic institutions in sports is arguably one of the greatest moments of our brand’s history.”
Christian Boszczyk, co-founder & Creative Director BEASTIN
The cherry on top is a distinct “The Greatest” pack featuring the famous Sports Illustrated Muhammad Ali cover shot by Neil Leifer. The collection honors the original GOAT; a man responsible for some of the most legendary moments in sports and civil rights history. Ali’s iconic cover graces a custom-built, original Levi’s denim trucker jacket, a hoodie, matching tee, and a printed camp shirt.
The BEASTIN x Sports Illustrated capsule collection releases on Friday, August 7th, at 10 pm CEST / 4 pm Eastern, exclusively at BSTN.
