Basketball has always been at the core of BSTN’s DNA. With all three of our co-founders having played professionally and a staff full of avid fans, bringing BSTN and the NBA together for a fashion collaboration is without question one of the highlights of our brand’s history. Growing up in Europe, watching live games at all hours is simply part of being a basketball afficionado. Now, we’re thrilled to team up with the National Basketball Association (NBA) for a limited-edition apparel collection.
If there ever was a list of the most desirable brands to work with, the NBA would have been at the very top for us here at BSTN. Joining forces with the premier basketball league on the planet is a true bucket list moment for us.
BSTN is channeling its proprietary premium apparel aesthetic into a collection that creates a modern take on traditional team logos – with a distinct European twist. Designed to allow fans to showcase their love of the game or their favorite team, the capsule provides fellow hoop heads with a new kind of premium team wear.
The capsule collection combines established designs featuring the NBA’s iconic logo, with high-end team wear of seven tradition-rich teams from around the association: The Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, and Portland Trail Blazers.
A variety of t-shirts, crewnecks, hoodies, and sweatpants – all made from high-quality cotton – is dedicated to each team. With logo branding kept to a minimum, the pieces rely on classic color combinations and subtle details, offering fans a sophisticated take on their teams.
In addition, three unique cut-and-sew corduroy shorts and a two-piece all-over debossed logo velour track suit underline the collection’s unique combination of off-court appeal, every-day comfort, and a distinct basketball culture.
Thanks to the help of our friends at A Kind Of Guise, the collection also includes five premium quality knitwear pieces that are all made in Germany from 100% of the finest merino wool.
The BSTN w/ NBA capsule collection will be released on Friday, April 15th, exclusively at BSTN.com with an in-store release at BSTN Munich and BSTN Hamburg following on Saturday, April 16th.
