Jordan Brand has teamed up with Eastside Golf for a line of golf apparel that moves effortlessly between the course and everyday wear. In Addition, the collection also includes special editions of the Air Jordan I as well as the Air Jordan XII.
The collection is inspired by Eastside Golf founder Olajuwon Ajanaku’s own experiences on the golf course that included him getting thrown out of a country club for not wearing proper golf attire and his memories of red clay decking out his sneakers after 36 rounds of golf. Ajanaku has channeled these memories into specific design details like belt loops being included on all pairs of pants and outsoles mirroring the warm red tones of clay.
Eastside Golf’s mission is to promote diversity, inspire culture and to be authentic. And so for Jordan Brand to give us an opportunity to touch so many different pieces, to infuse our experiences, O being kicked off the country club, my experience as being a PGA Professional. I’m just so excited that we have an opportunity to share our perspective on one of the biggest platforms in the world.
