When in doubt, call Skepta! The London-based grime MC has been called upon for an impressive fourth time to deliver his unique twist on a well-known classic from the Swoosh archives. Having previously collaborated on the Nike Air Max Deluxe, Air Max 97/BW, and the Air Max 97, Skepta chose a staple from the early 2000s for his latest project: The Nike Shox TL.
“When I used to go to Manchester, all the kids were rocking Shox. It was a real street shoe there. I liked their swag — the windbreakers and the Shox. I thought ‘Yeah, let’s definitely do that,’ because I always remember those trips up north.”

Building on his trip down memory lane, the artist made sure to give the Shox TL a can’t-miss look by combining regal red on the characteristic cushioning with a black and metallic silver upper. First spotted in Skepta’s video for his single “Bullet From a Gun”, the Nike SK Shox TL Skepta is now available from the BSTN online shop.
