When Nike continued their indubitably popular cooperation with renowned artist Tom Sachs in form of the Mars Yard overshoe, BSTN made sure to honor the collaborative capsule with an ice-cold and one of a kind editorial shoot.
The Mars Yard overshoe was designed in form and functionality to combat wet feet during rain-heavy spring weeks, apparently Tom Sachs’ most dreaded time of the year in New York City. The shooting aims to juxtapose the shoes’ initial purpose to re-imagining the original shoe box with a carefully crafted and lavishly crested block of ice.
