Ralph Lauren has launched a partnership with the MLB, designing 3 special collections in collaboration with some of baseball’s most iconic teams. The partnership is the perfect marriage between Polo Ralph Lauren‘s American iconography and the Major League Baseball – the proverbial big leagues and America’s favorite pastime.
A lifelong baseball fan, Ralph Lauren has always been inspired by its authentic American legacy. His love of the sport has stayed with him throughout his life, so this partnership comes full circle for the designer.
Celebrating the rich heritage of America’s favorite pastime, the first collections in this new partnership will include the New York Yankees, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals, and will expand to include additional teams in the future including the Boston Red Sox.
The first multi-team capsule features: polo shirts, jackets, sweatshirts and hats in the teams’ colorways for adults and children. The capsule also incorporates classic Polo colors, bringing RL’s color sense to the offer, such as Polo Red and Green for the Yankees. Additionally, in each collection, special Polo Bear polo shirts and crewneck sweatshirts are available representing each team.
