Pitted against an athletic freak and the clear-cut contest favorite in 6-10 Sonics star forward Shawn Kemp, Brown relied on creativity and showmanship to take home the victory in the 1991 contest. And while he later admitted that his infamous no-look dunk was a product of on-the-spot ingenuity rather than advance planning, it certainly became an all-time fan favorite!
Dee Brown won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest thirty years ago in the original release of the Reebok Pump Omni Zone II.
