If you’re like Quavo and grew up during the 90s, there is a good chance that video games played an important role in your childhood. And if you happened to own a PlayStation back in the day, there’s an even better chance you’ve spent the late 90s running from giant boulders with one of the most iconic characters the PS1 had to offer: Crash Bandicoot.
While the tremendously successful franchise has produced its fair share of spin-offs, fans of the original series (Crash Bandicoot I thru III) have had to wait for a sequel since 1998. Until now! And eventhough countless fellow 90s kids are excited for Crash’s return, there might not be a more committed fan than the Migos superstar.
Quavo infamously flaunts his fandom of the Crash Bandicoot games with a custom-built chain featuring Aku Aku, the unmistakable mask and spiritual guide that has played a key role in parts I – III.
Crash Bandicoot 4 – It’s About Time releases on October 2nd for PS4 and Xbox One. It not only features 100 different levels (which is more than the first three parts of the main series games combined) but it also includes several new masks.
Whether that means that Quavo will add to his already extensive jewelry collection remains to be seen though.
