Headlined by numerous retros and homages from the original release in 1985, Nike has put together an appropriate celebration of the Dunk’s 35th anniversary last year. Not to be outdone, the Swoosh is kicking off the new year with a flurry of Dunk releases that includes both High and Low versions of the extremely popular silhouette.
Right off the bat, a three-pack of Dunks launches in the second week of January, highlighted by two WMNS versions of the shoe. Officially dubbed Sail/Football Grey-Pale Ivory, the “Football Grey” Nike Dunk High is an all-new color combination that offers a plain but upscale alternative to some of the more bright and colorful university-inspired colorways from the Dunk’s iconic “Be True To Your School” campaign.
The Nike WMNS Dunk High “Football Grey” releases at BSTN on Thursday, January 14th, alongside two other Dunk silhouettes, the Dunk Low “Coast” and the Nike Dunk High “Vast Grey”.
