Last year’s 35th anniversary of the Dunk High never failed to remind us that the Nike staple is deeply rooted in college basketball. With the Dunk’s recent resurgence in popularity, it’s nice to see that the Swoosh manages to keep the Dunk’s inspiration alive while simultaneously introducing new colorways that fit the original theme.
The latest iteration of the hightop, dubbed “Dark Sulfur”, does just that by combining a crisp white base with saturated yellow highlights. While the pattern instantly connects with Dunk fans and hoops aficionados, the colorway represents a contemporary take on an all-time classic.
