TAION mainly uses down and feathers with a high 800 fill power for its designs. This makes the products lighter in comparison to conventionally used down fillings. After filling, the down is divided into chambers by quilting seams, which are sealed so tightly that no cold outside air can penetrate. This structure makes it difficult for air heated by body temperature to escape. The Military Ma-1 Down Jacket by TAION is a modern interpretation of the bomber jacket that retains the original silhouette but replaces characteristic details with significant Taion accents.
