Nike brings back the iconic Cortez in the color 'Oregon', a nod to its rich history. Originally designed by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman in 1968, the Cortez became famous as a versatile running shoe. During Bowerman's coaching tenure, he was closely associated with the University of Oregon track and field team, which cemented his connection to the state. This version of the Cortez in the colors Gorge Green and Yellow Ochre embodies the spirit of Oregon. It is made from suede and nylon and features vintage logos on the tongue and insole. The retro style is rounded off with Sail White accents on the tongue, laces, inner lining and rubber outsole.
