The Skateroom Mak2 Home Sweet Home: Rose Pool Skateboard

The sun sets over a rooftop pool filled with floating roses, while plants hang from an invisible ceiling. The individual panels of the triptych were painted using the popular American life simulation video game The Sims by a different painter found on the Chinese e-commerce platform Taobao. The resulting differences between each panel disrupt the serene and dreamlike atmosphere of this rooftop paradise and are a startling reminder of the discrepancies between fantasy and reality. Please note that each panel of the triptych was painted separately, resulting in some unevenness between the three parties, a normal result of the artist's practice.
